Prior to moving to Chicago, I focused my time and talent in the music industry. I ran a show production & booking agency called Rogue Booking & Productions, which was launched with support from friends in the local punk & ska scene. I was also the office & mail-order manager of a small punk label called PoorBoy Records, and I co-founded a merchandise & button company called Poorboy Prints. Between these three companies, I spent a lot of time booking, promoting, and running small local shows at community centers, church basements, my dad’s garage, small coffee shops, etc. I booked and managed a handful of small east coast and midwest tours for bands on the record label, and had the opportunity to manage merchandising for an artist participating in the Vans Warped Tour.
